I've had an account with TranscribeMe for a couple of months now. I admit I haven't been using them often (i.e. at all). I think I forgot all about it for a while until today when I decide I wanted to do some transcription. What I like about TranscribeMe is the fact that the audio you transcribe is broken down to 8-10 second segments so you can get the job done quickly.
It also helps that they changed their rate and it's now $20 per audio hour. As you can see, it's easy to make some extra cash here. The payout is at $10 and I can see myself getting there quickly and easily. The only problem I can see with TranscribeMe is the amount of work they have. They have a lot of work but you have to know when it's available because the work goes quickly.
It's easy to sign up for them. You only have to take a transcription test that you can redo around 3 times. It's just their way of seeing if you can follow their directions/instructions when transcribing for them.
